Differences in Other Versions

Cheat codes for PC CD version
Enter these codes on the title screen for the cheats to take effect. L is
left, R is right, U is up and D is down. These codes aren't all 8 "letters"
like the arcade codes are.
| LRUDLRUD | Cheat Mode - special keys are given below |
| RLUDUDU | Original Game - doors to secret levels appear even if you die |
| DUDURDLDUD | Power Up - permanent fast running and fast bubbling |
| RSBLRJBS | Super Game - play the "super" game. This is the code that is given when you finish the game.
It's the same as the arcade version and can't be entered, it seems. :-( |
In cheat mode, some of the function keys can be used for... well... cheating:
| F3 | go to next level |
| F4 | extra life for player 1 only |
| F5 | 10,000 lives for player 1 only |
| F6 | the next level will be 98 |
Cheat codes for Sony Playstation version
| DUDURDLDUD | Debug Mode
- special keys are given below |
| RLUDUDU | Original Game
- doors to secret levels appear even if you die |
Use the following in debug mode:
| L1 | go to last level |
| R1 | go to next level |
| R2 | show debug menu: see map number, Bub's lives, Bob's lives |
| R1 | hide debug menu if
it's displayed |
Cheat codes for Sega Saturn version
| DUDURDLDUD | Debug Mode - special keys are given below |
| RLUDUDU | Original Game - doors to secret levels appear even if you die |
| RSBLRJBS | Super Game - play the "super" game. As with the PC version, this seems impossible to enter. :-( |
Use the following in debug mode:

Sega Master System levels 1 and 10 secrets
On the Sega Master system version (the most arcade-accurate I've seen i.t.o. playability),
if you don't pop the bubbles on level 1, then when Baron Von Blubba appears you'll get a
secret door taking U to a room filled with treasure chests and sweets :)
Also, there's a diamond door on level 10 in this version, even though it usually only
starts coming on level 20.
